Run for new heart

In 2012, when we were having lunch together at work, we realized that several of us wanted to take part in the La Parisienne foot race for women. Competing on behalf of the company seemed obvious because of the close parallel between its corporate values and those of sport in general.  The challenge at the time was to find 12 of us to form a corporate team. That year, there were 42 of us proudly wearing our VINCI Energies t-shirt in the streets of Paris.  Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and this year, 320 of us will be on the starting line.
But more importantly, there will be 320 women committed to supporting the actions of the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque charity. Our pounding feet will help a child to benefit from technical and human resources that are difficult to access in their own country. To give them a new heart that works properly. So they can run with other children. Go to school. Smile again. Just that. Nothing more.
